Pride of Quakertown receives $5,500 grant

Posted

Pride of Quakertown (POQ) is the receipt of a new grant from Foundations Community Partnership (FCP), just in time for the new school year in the Quakertown Community School District.

Valued at $5,500, the grant will contribute significantly to POQ’s mission of providing scholarships to at-risk children that allow them to participate in extra-curricular enrichment programs. Each year, over 125 kids benefit from these scholarships. Our vision is that no child should be denied the chance to pursue their dream.

The award was presented to POQ by Dr. Tobi Bruhn, CEO of Foundations Community Partnership, at the Quakertown Community School District board meeting on Aug. 24.
