Prallsville Mills Holiday Party lights up Stockton

Posted

With the continued cooperation of the Stockton Fire Company, the Prallsville Mills in Stockton, N.J., hosted its annual Holiday Party on Nov. 28.
It was a joyous event, attended by 200 Delaware River Mill Society members and the general public, marking the first time the group reunited since COVID-19 forced the cancellation of gathering.
Santa (firefighter Rick McDaniels) arrived via a Stockton Fire Company truck aided by his elves, Eric Trautman, Karl Darby and Lisa Steffanelli. Santa posed for photographs in the whimsical, oversized selfie frame designed for children and adults alike.
The Mill was dressed in its holiday best, courtesy of Cynthia Manchester, the Mill’s resident private events coordinator. Event sponsors included T-Mobile and Shop-Rite of Flemington, along with several board members. The event culminated in a tree-lighting ceremony.

“Thanks to our sponsors and members for all the donations and help in facilitating this community outreach,” said Beth Japchen, director of the Delaware River Mill Society.
McDaniels relished his turn as Santa, saying, “I enjoyed my role at this great event that feels like a holiday party for all of Stockton.”
