Pine2Pink expands footprint to Warrington

Posted

The Pine2Pink Foundation, an experience-based, community-driven nonprofit dedicated to local breast cancer patients, is happy to announce its 2022 expansion to The Shops at Valley Square in Warrington.

The expansion opportunity will allow Pine2Pink’s ever-growing footprint (New Hope, Newtown, Doylestown, Perkasie, Peddler’s Village and Carversville) to expand to Warrington and reside in a popular local shopping destination featuring 40 retailers and restaurants.

The expansion will help drive fundraising efforts and awareness throughout the entire month of October.

Pine2Pink’s immersive fundraising experience will be integrated at the Shops at Valley Square in a multitude of ways. Over 150 exterior lights will be changed to pink throughout the complex; stores will dedicate either a special Pine2Pink section or select featured items with a proceed split going directly to the nonprofit; North Main Street the main throughfare will be renamed Pink Street for the month, and the Pine2Pink virtual scavenger hunt will be active throughout the complex. The scavenger hunt is an augmented reality game powered by a free phone app. The entire family can seek, find and capture virtual pink wings hidden throughout the shops and claim them for prizes. The scavenger hunt spans across Bucks County to every city and location that supports Pine2Pink.

An ever-growing facet of Pine2Pink’s popularity is it’s; Eat, Drink and Shop program, where people are encouraged to #ShopLocal, and a portion of their spending directly supporting local breast cancer patients.

Ardana Food & Drink, a premier restaurant within Valley Square, has partnered with Pine2Pink. As official sponsors, the owners will host an exclusive wine and food pairing event with all proceeds going to Pine2Pink. Slated for this October, the evening will honor local breast cancer survivors and thrivers.

Ashley Pompei, property manager The Shops at Valley Square stated, “We are excited to be part of Pine2Pink at The Shops at Valley Square this year. As part of the surrounding community, giving back to an innovative local nonprofit and helping expand the reach is something that we are happy to contribute to. It is fulfilling to to partner with Pine2Pink to raise awareness and fundraising opportunities for those battling breast cancer through fun events and promotions.”

Mike Christou, Owner Ardana Food & Drink shares, “I had heard about Pine2Pink and was aware of how instrumental this nonprofit and its offerings are to our local cancer community. As a family run restaurateur who services this community, I wanted to do my part to help raise funds and awareness for Pine2Pink so my customers who are battling breast cancer and those in the community can benefit.”

“I am thrilled to expand to Warrington and have Pine2Pink takeover the Shops at Valley Square,” added Pine2Pink founder Keith Fenimore. “The center is like a little village and attracts an amazing amount of foot traffic. Part of Pine2Pink’s appeal that we work hard to cultivate is producing an engaging and unique experience. This partnership is poised to create amazing results. We are excited to see the transformation this October and happy to add all the amazing shops and restaurants at The Shops at Valley Square to the Pine2Pink movement.”
