Newtown Theatre to present “From Broadway to Newtown PA”

Posted

The historic Newtown Theatre will present “From Broadway to Newtown PA” at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 9.

This intimate evening of Broadway music will feature Jonathan Christopher (“Sweeney Todd,” “Hamilton”), Carrie St. Louis (“Wicked,” “Kinky Boots,” “Rock of Ages,” “Titanique”), and Keri René Fuller (“SIX,” “Waitress,” “Cats,” “Jagged Little Pill”) performing Tony-award-winning hits from musicals ranging from “Carousel” to “Hamilton.”

They will be joined by Music Director Dan Micciche, conductor of the hit Broadway musical “Wicked.” This is a chance to see Broadway-level talent right here in Newtown.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets include the performance, one complimentary drink (alcoholic or non), and dessert. This event is being held as a final fundraiser for the Newtown Theatre’s phase II renovations, which will kick off on July 1 and last two months.

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $100 per person or $90 for theater members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $125 at the door on the night of the show, if available. All seating is general admission.
