Montessori School celebrates graduates

Posted

The Montessori School (TMS) in Dresher celebrated its 49th graduation ceremony outdoors and in-person on June 9.

Aja Sullivan, a graduate of the Class of 2008, gave the keynote address to the graduates. Sullivan completed her pre-collegiate education at Alexandria City High School (formerly T.C. Williams High School). In 2018, she graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and recently completed her MBA at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Currently, she is a DEI program manager at a San Francisco-based tech company. She oversees the Associate Resource Groups, DEI data analytics and communications, with a goal of creating an environment where all feel welcomed and accepted.

The Kevin Wallace Award for Sportsmanship went to Vivian Tubio ’26. This award recognizes good sportsmanship displayed on the playground and in the classroom, in remembrance of former student Kevin Wallace. The Arnold Zeleznik Award for Citizenship went to Molly Brinker ’23, whose concern for the well-being of others stood out among her peers.

A tradition at TMS, the graduates each presented a prepared speech summarizing their learning experiences, appreciation and path of personal growth during their years at TMS.
