Milford, N.J., dairy hosts David Amram Jam and Farm-to-Fork BBQ

Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse in Milford, N.J., will host a David Amram Jam and Farm-to-Fork BBQ June 11.

Music is from 4 to 6:30 p.m., with food available 3-6 p.m.

David Amram, 92, has composed the scores of “The Manchurian Candidate” and “Splendor in the Grass,” and was the first composer in residence with the New York Philharmonic under Leonard Bernstein. He continues performing around the world.

He’ll be joined by Adam Amram on congas and percussion, Rene Hart on bass, and Kevin Twig will join in on drums and glockenspiel.

Bobolink will sell a farm-to-fork picnic to enjoy, made with ingredients sourced from the farm and its local food shed.

The event is family friendly, BYOB; no dogs.
