“Local Beauty,” an exhibit of paintings of colorful local images by Bill Jersey and Debbie Pisacreta, well-known member artists of Artists’ Gallery, are on view in Bell’s Tavern Dining Room, 183 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J.
Jersey, a retired filmmaker, is presenting his paintings of local colorful barns. To him, barns represent a living presence of stately elegance that he creates with brush and paint as a seasoned expression of beauty.
Pisacreta paints on location throughout Lambertville, where her energy and emotional connection are inspired by a familiar scene. Qualities of light and color draw her to a subject, as well as feelings of calm and quiet that she finds inspiring.
