Home pickup medication disposal services available on Oct. 23 for older adults

Bucks County Area Agency is offering a Medication Disposal Program providing home pickup service for older adults 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
Unneeded medications and sharps will be picked up at home for safe disposal. It is a free program. Due to the popularity of this program the number of pickups will be limited.
This project is supported by the Bucks County commissioners and is made possible by a grant through the Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc.

Products accepted: prescription and over-the-counter medications, i.e., tablets and capsules; liquid medications, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays, oils, suppositories, patches; vitamins and supplements; pet medication; injectables, needles, syringes, lancets, auto injectors and solutions; vaping devices, cartridges, pods, and e-liquids (emove the batteries).
Illicit substances are not accepted.
