Hear an evening of original songs and curated covers

Posted

Larry Friends and Family along with the Aloft Trio present an evening of original songs and curated covers at Flemington DIY, 26 Stangl Road, Flemington, N.J., at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14.

Larry Friends and Family (originally named simply “Larry”) was founded in 1970 by three Hunterdon Central Regional High School seniors as a folk-rock act showcasing original material and unique covers.

As the music drew numerous fans, “Larry” became “Larry Friends and Family.” Additional personnel brought piano, keyboards and the power of up to six voices in complex multipart harmonies, which became the hallmark of the band.

Band members playing at this event will be Rosemary Eads, David Baughn, Ed Warner and Michael Wolf.

Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds and influences, Aloft Trio blends a variety of genres that defy easy categorization. This dynamic trio seamlessly weaves elements of Americana music (folk, country, blues, rock, jazz).
