Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,764,085

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 7, there were 567 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,764,085.

There were 8 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 43,600 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 471,667 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,087,162 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,079 cases and 1,847 deaths
  • Chester County: 90,773 cases and 1,122 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,027 cases and 1,831 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 88,899 cases and 1,227 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 150,186 cases and 2,278 deaths
  • Northampton County: 78,927 cases and 1,071 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 305,021 cases and 5,002 deaths
