Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,761,697

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 3, there were 1,080 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,761,697.
There were 39 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 43,525 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
There are 471,119 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,079,438 individuals who have tested negative to date.
The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 121,987 cases and 1,845 deaths
  • Chester County: 90,674 cases and 1,120 deaths
  • Delaware County: 108,944 cases and 1,827 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 88,861 cases and 1,227 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 150,000 cases and 2,276 deaths
  • Northampton County: 78,888 cases and 1,069 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 304,728 cases and 4,998 deaths
