Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,775,183

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 21, there were 841 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,775,183.

There were 23 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,050 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 474,447 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,124,293 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,574 cases and 1,866 deaths
  • Chester County: 91,172 cases and 1,132 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,393 cases and 1,850 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,090 cases and 1,229 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 151,349 cases and 2,296 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,166 cases and 1,079 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 307,048 cases and 5,041 deaths
