Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,770,778

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 15, there were 879 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,770,778.

There were 14 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 43,909 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 473,294 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,107,853 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,383 cases and 1,858 deaths
  • Chester County: 91.034 cases and 1,130 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,240 cases and 1,849 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,016 cases and 1,228 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 150,858 cases and 2,291 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,066 cases and 1,077 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 305,939 cases and 5,025 deaths
