Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,785,346

Harrisburg - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on April 6, there were 755 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,785,346.

There were zero new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,370 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 2,308,667 confirmed cases and 476,679 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,162,187 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 123,129 cases and 1,879 deaths
  • Chester County: 91,701 cases and 1,140 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,938 cases and 1,863 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,378 cases and 1,234 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 152,404 cases and 2,308 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,486 cases and 1,085 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 308,578 cases and 5,073 deaths
