The City of Allentown announced today that masks will be optional for employees and visitors entering city property effective Monday, Feb. 28. The decision was made with guidance from the Allentown Health Bureau.
The city will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 cases in the community and will reinstate the mask mandate if it is deemed necessary to protect employees and citizens.
Social distancing and frequent handwashing are encouraged, and all plexiglass barriers will remain in place.
