CB South football impresses in SOL tilt

Posted

Central Bucks South improved to 3-0 Thursday night in a dominating 47-0 win at Council Rock North.

The Indians fell to 0-3. South, up 40-0 at the half, forced a running clock.

It is the second straight commanding win of an SOL Continental foe for South, who beat Harry S. Truman 42-7 in week two after prevailing in a 13-10 defensive duel with Father Judge on Opening Night.

Corey Moore rushed for a season high 110 yards and a touchdown. The Titans in total picked up 295 yards on the ground. Owen Pinkerton connected for two touchdown tosses through the air and completed six of 11 passes for 94 yards. Defensively, Adam Oscar returned a North fumble for a touchdown.

The Titans face a big test next Thursday when they travel to Buckingham to face archrival Central Bucks East. North will host Souderton next Thursday.
