Bucks County Community College capped off Black History Month celebrations with its second annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Builders Awards ceremony at its Newtown campus Feb. 23.
The college honored four leaders of community, corporate, humanitarian, and student organizations who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and service to nondiscrimination, regardless of an individual’s station in life.
Dr. Felicia Ganther, college president, also acknowledged David Balogun, the Bensalem resident who graduated high school at age nine and is now enrolled at the community college. Learn more at bucks.edu/dreambuilderawards.
