Bike Lambertville, Lambertville Historical team for Roll & Stroll

Posted

Bike Lambertville and the Lambertville Historical Society are partnering to host a Historical Roll & Stroll of Lambertville, N.J., from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15.

An LHS docent will provide commentary on the historical significance of the buildings and canal features along a 4-mile ride, (with a 6-mile optional add on at the end).

Traveling by bike will allow participants to explore historical sites not part of the popular LHS walking tours. The route will utilize the canal path and quiet roads in Lambertville for a slow and casual ride. Participants should come prepared with a road ready bike, properly fitted helmet, water and appropriate layered clothing.

Meet at the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum at 1605 Daniel Bray Highway, Lambertville. With ample free parking, the Farmstead is open Sundays from 1-4 p.m. Riders will gather at 1:15 p.m., depart at 1:30 p.m., and after returning at approximately 3:30 p.m. may choose to join an additional 6-mile ride north to the Prallsville Mills site in Stockton, N.J.

RSVP to join the ride by emailing PaulMickFit@gmail.com.
