It was a gorgeous sunny day last fall when hundreds of show cars and trucks descended on A&T Chevrolet and A&T Subaru in Sellersville for the dealership’s annual Celebration of Cars Benefit Car Show.
Registration fees from the event are used purely for fundraising purposes, with the monies disbursed directly to the 2023 Show beneficiaries: Keystone Opportunity Center and Dog Town Rescue.
Representatives from Dog Town Rescue and Keystone Opportunity Center recently visited the A&T Subaru showroom to receive their donations. Keystone Opportunity Center received a generous donation of $1,441.11. Dog Town Rescue was the beneficiary of an even larger sum, receiving $2,515.00, boosted by additional contributions throughout October’s Subaru Loves Pets initiative, where customers donating received a “Chewbaru” pet toy.
In addition to viewing the display of cars and trucks, attendees had the opportunity to meet representatives of Keystone Opportunity Center and Dog Town Rescue, learn about their missions and meet adoptable dogs. The show included a variety of experiences including a DJ and food from local favorites Federal Donuts, Jay’s Joint, and Downtown Scoop. A highlight for many attendees was the chance to participate in ax throwing with the Throw House Axe Mobile Axe Throwing Unit.
“This is our favorite event of the year,” said Jeff Allen, A&T Chevrolet-Subaru president. “It’s a chance to help our community by having a fun time enjoying some incredible vehicles. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
The 2024 edition of the A&T Chevrolet-Subaru Celebration of Cars Benefit Car Show will take place Sunday, Oct. 6, at the dealership, which is located at 801 Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville. Look for registration to open this summer at ATChevrolet.com or ATSubaru.net.
