Art and music fill the streets of Doylestown

Posted

The storms held off but the crowds did not.

Thousands converged on the streets of downtown Doylestown Sept. 9 and 10 for the 32nd Doylestown Arts Festival, which featured 150 artists, dozens of musicians and local businesses.

The two-day celebration of arts and community was held in partnership with Discover Doylestown, the Borough of Doylestown and local businesses, organizations and residents, and went off without a hitch thanks to the dedication of over 130 volunteers.

“We remain in awe of this community and their seemingly tireless support of the local and regional art, music and cultural scene,” stated Paul Boger, who directs the event in a volunteer capacity with wife Kris Boger. “We took a gamble on the weather and we were rewarded with an incredible weekend of creativity and connection.”
