“April Showers,” an event hosted by the Unified Pennridge Club, poured on the fun at Pennridge High School in Perkasie April 28.
Unified Pennridge is a high school club that “provides inclusive opportunities for those with and without disabilities to participate together in club activities and sports. They hold fun events throughout the school year that help foster connections and build a more inclusive community here at Pennridge,” according to a district news release.
For the last three years these events have included April Showers, which invites the Pennridge High School community and the autistic support and life skills classrooms from all Pennridge School District buildings to “get ‘showered’ and have fun with the help of local fire companies and school district staff.”
