An evening of mystery and macabre with Edgar Allen Poe, to benefit the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury, took place Oct. 19 at the Logan Inn in New Hope.
Sponsors for the costume optional fundraiser were Dave Griffith, McCaffrey’s Food Markets and River Valley Realty. Portrayed by Helen McKenna, Poe’s appearance was made possible by the generosity of Tricia and Scott Reines, with additional support byDon Goeltz and Karyl Chongas, John and Marilyn Schuster, and Kristine Gorman.
