A 75-year-old woman was pronounced dead Sunday, after authorities responded to a fire call at 10:40 a.m.
Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck identified the woman as Mary Brennan.
Perkasie police and fire crews were dispatched to 1305 B Parkridge Court for an active building fire, police said.
Upon arrival Perkasie Fire Department personnel gained access to the building and located one fire victim in an upstairs bedroom, police said.

Buck said the cause and manner of Brennan’s death are under investigation by the coroner’s office.

Bucks County Fire Marshal John Gundy said the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. He said the fire started in a closet in the kitchen, and fire damage was contained to the closet but heat and smoke damage is throughout the living space.
Gundy expressed his condolences to the Brennan family.
Perkasie Fire Company was assisted at the scene by Sellersville Fire Company. Fire crews remained on scene for approximately 3 1/2 hours.
The fire is being investigated by Perkasie Borough Police Detectives and the Bucks County Fire Marshals Office.
