Posted

The Carpool Cinema is back on Saturday night.

Join the ACME Screening Room again this summer for the Carpool Cinema, located at 204 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J., behind the Spokeworks Building.

The evening includes live music by local musicians at 8 p.m. with the movie starting immediately afterward. Select Friday nights will be dedicated to Family Film Nights with a cartoon pre-show. Upcoming May films include “The Birdcage,” “Love, Simon” for Pride Weekend (sponsored by New Hope Celebrates), “Abominable” and “Jaws.”

Concessions will be provided by Thai Tida or call ahead from their take out menu. The Acme will also sell sodas and sparkling waters, in addition to bagged snacks and candy.

Patrons are welcome to “tailgate” by their car, and are required to wear a mask if they leave their parking spot. A bathroom for carpool customers only, will be available on site.

Tickets are $25 to $40 per car, depending on the film. New this year is a discount for Acme Members. All ticket sales are available online only. For the upcoming film schedule and to purchase tickets, go to acmescreeningroom.org.
