St. John’s United Church of Christ sponsors a Witting Tree Ceremony at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Southern Lehigh Living Memorial Park, 215 E. Landis St,, Coopersburg.
Taps and a brief, meaningful service of witness will take place.
“We will be hanging 154 sets of dog tags in a public remembrance of the 22 veterans who take their lives each day—154 a week.
“We hope to raise awareness of the ongoing impact of war on veterans and the wounds of body and soul that they can bear.”
