William “Jim” Muscatell, 89, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022 at the Reading Hospital, Reading, Pa.
Born in Trenton, N.J., Jim lived most of his life in Lambertville, N.J., spent some time in Sebastian Fla., and in Reinholds, Pa., since 1993. He retired as a planner and estimator in the Public Works Department of the Naval Air Propulsion Center in Trenton with 32 years of employment. Jim enjoyed his daily walks, had an interest in humming birds and was a devoted family man to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Son of the late William and Winefred Lawton Muscatell, father of the late William James Muscatell Jr. who died in 1981, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dolores Moran Muscatell; his four children, Cindy Jones and her husband John, David Muscatell and his wife Shari, Donna Mohn and her husband Michael, and Gary Muscatell; his eight grandchildren, Jim Muscatell, Joseph, Charlie and Nicola Papa, Stephanie and David Muscatell, Michael J. Mohn and Sarah DiAlto, and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Dec. 29, 2022 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lambertville, under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville, N.J.
