White supremacy lurks in many corners

Posted

The faces of white supremacists advocating Replacement Theory are not limited to 18-year-olds (Buffalo, N.Y.). A Doylestown Township supervisor was seen distributing a flyer last October in a suburban school district espousing a headline warning white teachers that they will be replaced based on their skin color. With fellow supervisors, community leaders and a newspaper editorial board asking for her resignation, the supervisor remains on the board.
Racism happens everywhere. When white supremacist talking points go mainstream, if we don’t stand up and speak up and stop it when it happens, we all bear responsibilities for what happened in Buffalo.
Bonnie Chang, Doylestown
