Warrington and Hatboro police seek public’s help

Posted

On June 30, at approximately 4:18 a.m., a white or Hispanic man attempted to break into a residence located on York Road, in Hatboro, Warrington police said.

Earlier that morning, they said, the suspect was seen walking past that location several times accompanied by a second man.

At 4:43 a.m., police said, the suspect committed an armed robbery at the Wawa, located at 550 Easton Road, Warrington. The suspect used a black semiautomatic firearm to threaten two store employees and a customer, who was made to lie facedown on the floor, police said.

In both incidents, police said, the suspect can be seen wearing the following: a black balaclava type mask; a black leather jacket with two red stripes around each arm; and red and black sneakers with white soles.

In the Hatboro incident, police said, the suspect and his accomplice can both be seen carrying a red and black backpack with yellow striping.

Police are requesting all businesses and residences in those areas check their security cameras for additional footage of the suspect and his accomplice. Police ask anyone who can identify either of them to contact Warrington Detective Bernard Schaffer at 215-343-3311 x222 or Hatboro Detective Sergeant Conner Dilks at 215-675-2832.
