Warminster Symphony Orchestra presents “March Magic”

Posted

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 23, when Warminster Symphony Orchestra presents “March Magic” at 7:30 p.m., at William Tennent Auditorium, 333 Centennial Road, Warminster.

Magical musical tales and symphonic marches will include such audience favorites as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” “Overture to the Magic Flute,” “Crown Imperial March” (think the coronation of King Charles III) and Mendelssohn’s “War March of the Priests.”

“This is our 57th season of bringing exceptional musical performance to our community — a mission that all of us in the WSO organization work diligently to achieve,” said Joseph Lovecchio, music director/conductor. “We value the opportunity we have to present superior programming and diverse guest soloists, many of whom are world-class, to share their talents with our audience.

“A highlight of the season’s concert schedule is the performance by the winner of the Young Artist Youth Division winner. At the March concert, Jiaray Shi will perform the first movement of Prokofiev’s ‘Violin Concerto No.2.’”

Tickets at the door: $25 and $10 for students. Advance tickets: $22 and $8 for students, (cash or check only) can be purchased at John S.
