Thousands of “never political before” suburban women across the U.S. will gather virtually at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, for “Troublemaker Training.”
Heather Cox Richardson, a professor of American History at Boston College, will lead the event hosted by Red Wine and Blue, which has been training and connecting a network of nearly half a million suburban women of all political backgrounds to organize in their communities to address the growing threats of extremism on rights, public education, freedom, and democracy.
Richardson will speak via Zoom and attendees will receive training about the most impactful thing they can do for the midterms – talking to their friends, family, and community.
The event is part of Red Wine and Blue’s Great Troublemaker Turnout, its friend-to-friend program aimed at recruiting 20,000 volunteers to turn out hundreds of thousands of their friends and family in the 2022 midterms.
