Utility improvement to close Gibson Road in Bensalem

Posted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will be performing utility construction on Gibson Road in Bensalem Township.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction: Monday, March 18, through Tuesday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Gibson Road will be closed and detoured between Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will complete this improvement project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
