Letters to the Herald

Use of word “insurrection” implies bias

I agree with Supervisor Richard Rosamilia (Jan. 12. I rely on the Herald for accurate reporting — on both sides of issues. Your headline for a candlelight vigil was appropriate until you added the word “insurrection.” I am not alone when I hear that word, which implies an “armed revolt.” On January 6, agreeably, there was an uprising or rebellion by some citizens who handled their concerns poorly. I greatly appreciate hearing both sides of the coin to make a rational thought.
