Posted

Southbound Route 1 will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, Sept. 6, through Thursday, Sept. 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning between the Penndel/Business 1 and Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges for shoulder reconstruction in Bensalem Township, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said.

In addition, a right lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Street Road (Route 132) between Kingston Way and Old Lincoln Highway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, for bridge construction.

Motorists also are reminded that southbound Old Lincoln Highway remains closed through mid-September from the ramp to southbound Route 1 to Bristol Road in Middletown Township for reconstruction. Motorists are detoured south on U.S.1 to the Neshaminy Interchange, then right onto Rockhill Drive back to Old Lincoln Highway.
