Trevose Horticultural Society sets talk about hops

“What Are Hops?” will be the featured program at The Trevose Horticultural Society’s monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road, Bensalem.
Meridith Megan Rebar, owner of Home Brewed Events, will share her knowledge on how to grow hops. She will explain the fermentation process in brewing beer and other fermented beverages. Samples of potted plants for show and tell may be provided.

Rebar chairs the Philly Loves Beer Education Committee and is a founding member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pink Boots Society.
