“Growing Dahlias” will be the featured program at The Trevose Horticultural Society’s monthly meeting on Tuesday at the Bensalem Senior Center, 1850 Byberry Road.
Led by Penn State Master Gardener Terry Fulginiti, the program will impart strategies for successfully growing dahlias, a tutorial covering popular hybrid varieties, forms and sizes and a lesson in implementing a plan for the home garden.
Fulginiti owns Dahlia Acre in Chalfont, a hobby-turned-small business that grows and sells specialty cut flowers. She also belongs to The Greater Philadelphia Dahlia Society, The American Dahlia Society, and the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A $5 donation is requested.
