Trails-to-Tasting Summer Mini Video Sessions

Posted

What is Trails-to-Tasting:
Discover the natural goodness in your own backyard through Trails-to-Tasting summer video series, foraging for wild edibles and creating easy to make cocktails! Instead of Farm-to-Table, these cocktails are Trails-to-Tasting!

During my summer mini-series, learn more about foraging for wild edibles that can be found all over – from your own small, urban garden, to roadsides, to natural hiking trails! We’ll learn about foraging etiquette, how plant and wildlife (especially pollinators) are interconnected, and how to create unique, handcrafted cocktails. They are perfect for cooling you down on those hot summer days!

What Registration Includes:
This session includes 6 videos, one published each week and sent straight to your inbox. Each identifies that week’s featured plant, it’s ecosystem role, and a cocktail/mocktail crafting tutorial! Each week features a new plant and cocktail and the videos are roughly 8-11 minutes long. Get an idea of what a Trails-to-Tasting video mini series session looks like by watching this Black Locust Iced Cordial session from spring 2021.

Special for this summer session is shrubs, oxymels, and boozey (or not!) smoothies! Plants may include locally foraged Black Raspberries, Mugwort, Bee Balm, and more! Participants will learn about plant parts, foraging etiquette, and medicinal qualities that cocktails with these specific plants have.

Each video will be exclusively sent to program participants weekly and only be available for them. Videos can be paused, played on repeat, rewinded and more! Don’t need to worry about your links expiring or losing your place! Even if you don’t have all of your ingredients ready, you’ll be able to rewatch them when you have them. Previous video links will be included in each email, so you can register at any time and still have access to all of the videos!

Access to the entire virtual 6 week series is $10/pp.
