Tony Sands to perform Sinatra’s “That’s Life”

Posted

Tony Sands performs his Sinatra’s “That’s Life” concert at the Sellersville Theater, at 3 p.m. Aug. 13.

Sands brings his Live Big Band, and performs all the popular standards. “Tony captivates his audiences with romance mannerism and illusion that has made (him) one most popular Sinatra performers in the country.” Sands caught the “Sinatra bug” as a child, growing up in Philadelphia.

“When I was 11 years old and heard Frank’s recordings, I started singing along with his records. I knew from a young age that he had something very special that very few singers had.

When Frank sang he actually painted a picture for me. I knew exactly what he was singing about with every song. It was like he was telling a story while he was singing.” … and that’s what Sands tries to project with every Sinatra song he sings.

Whether it’s a ballad or a swing tune, Sands mentions that it’s very important to get that song across to your audience and give 100% of yourself.

Sands, accompanied by his Live Big Band, will be performing song’s like ‘My Way,’ ‘That’s Life,’ ‘All The Way,’ ‘New York,’ and many, many more. For tickets call 215-257-5808.
