Concordia ChamberFest returns to the barn at rustic Glen Oaks Farm in Solebury at 6 p.m. Sept. 10.
A “Gutsy, Plucky Band” will present Il Fattore XX at 7 p.m. The evening includes drinks and light fare.
The “gutsy pluckers” will feature well-known baroque players, including soprano Chelsea Helm, Edwin Huzizinga and Manami Mizumoto on violin, Elliot Figg on harpsichord, and Michelle Djokic (Concordia artistic director) on continuo.
The program highlights the music of extraordinary female composers of the 17th century in Italy. Attendees will be treated to the compositions of Catarina Assandra, Barbara Strozzi, Isabella Leonardo and Francesca Caccini.
