Sun Dog Yoga Studio, 17 W State St # 1, Doylestown will once again host the Buddhist Monks of the Drepung Gomang Monastery for creation of a Sand Mandala, from its sacred beginning to its ceremonial end, Sept. 12 to 16.
Their beautiful handmade crafts will be offered for sale during the hours of mandala viewing and chanting. One hundred percent of all donations and sales from their crafts go to the Monks to support their sacred works.
All scheduled yoga classes will be held during their visit. The Friday night Vinyasa Express will be held from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 15.
The event schedule is as follows:
•Sand Mandala Creation; 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12; noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13; 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14; and 11:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15.
•Chanting and Prayers with the Monks: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15.
•Mandala Completion: 11:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
•Closing Ceremony: 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
