“Three Stooges” Film Fest returns to Historic Newtown Theatre

Slapstick fans are invited to “nyuk-nyuk-nyuk” it up with Larry, Moe and Curly during the Newtown Theatre’s 6th annual “Three Stooges” Film Fest at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2.

Michelle Squiccimara, registrar and outreach coordinator of the Stoogeum history museum in Ambler, will host the event and introduce five classic short films:

  •  “Hello Pop!” (1933)
  •  “A Pain in the Pullman” (1936)
  •  “Loco Boy Makes Good” (1942)
  •  “Three Little Pirates” (1946)
  •  “Three Hams on Rye” (1950)

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $20 per person or $15 for theater members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $25 at the door, 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough, on the day of the event (if available). All seating is general admission. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase.
