This holiday season, The Thompson Organization is expanding its “Helping Hands for the Holidays” initiative, a community-focused effort to give back and spread joy in partnership with local nonprofit organizations. Here’s how.
Thompson Lexus Willow Grove, 2560 Maryland Road, Willow Grove, is taking the lead in charitable endeavors by hosting a dual collection drive. The dealership is gathering non-perishable food items for the Willow Grove Food Pantry, and has joined forces with the Upper Moreland Police Department and a third-grader from Upper Moreland Elementary School to #MakeEveryKidHappy. The collaboration aims to collect new, unwrapped toys to bring joy to children.
Thompson Lexus Doylestown is making a significant impact by collecting nonperishable foods and personal hygiene products for the Warminster Food Bank. The dealership invites everyone in the community to contribute to this essential cause by dropping off their donations at Thompson Lexus Doylestown, 50 W. Swamp Road, Doylestown.
Thompson BMW, 680 N. Main St., Doylestown, is channeling its efforts in two distinct ways. The BMW Service Team is actively collecting nonperishable foods for Caring for Friends and Manna on Main, contributing to local food banks to alleviate hunger in the community. Simultaneously, the BMW Sales Team is partnering with the Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless (CSSH) to gather lightly used or new winter clothes and underlayers, including socks, thermals, and underwear, for their Code Blue Project. This initiative provides overnight shelter for unhoused individuals in need during inclement weather.
Thompson Toyota is extending a helping hand to Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, a nonprofit located in Chalfont. Dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of orphaned and injured native wildlife, Aark has compiled a wish list of its most needed items. Thompson Collision Center, 6175 Easton Road, Plumsteadville, is keeping up with its annual Shop with a Cop. Its team is partnering with the Plumstead Police Department to give kids a chance to shop alongside officers, making their holidays unforgettable and fostering positive connections with the police. Collision employees are collecting money, and the Thompson Organization will match their donation to spread even more holiday cheer.
Santa’s Workshop at all Service and Parts Centers continues. Thompson’s Free Toy Assembly continues through Dec 20. Thompson’s Toy Technicians will be offering a free service for unassembled toys. “Drop off the toy and instructions at any Thompson Service Center, and let us handle the rest, all at no charge.”
