The Open Days program returns to Bucks County

Posted

The Garden Conservancy announces the return, Saturday, of the Open Days program to Bucks County for the 2023 Open Days season.

Fueling America’s passion for gardens, The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program annually celebrates the country’s most exciting, creative, and innovative private gardens.

Open Days are special invitations to visit private gardens. The program is made up of a nationwide community of gardeners and garden enthusiasts teaching and inspiring each other and the public. From expert to novice, there is no better way to improve as a gardener than by experiencing a diverse range of gardens and gardening traditions, firsthand.

The 2023 Open Days program will open two private gardens—The Gardens at Half Moon and Paxson Hill Farm—in New Hope with an additional garden—Cape Cottage Garden—open the same day in nearby Princeton, N.J.

The Gardens at Half Moon is also offering a Digging Deeper program—a closer look at a specific topic on Saturday morning, titled “Design and Construction Tips for the Conifer Garden.”

These gardens showcase America’s diverse regional horticultural and stylistic expressions for all to enjoy.

Registration is $10 per person, per garden, or $5 for members of The Garden Conservancy. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. All registrations must be processed online at gardenconservancy.org/open-days.

The Garden Conservancy is the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and sharing outstanding American gardens for the education and inspiration of the public. For information, visit gardenconservancy.org.
