“The book sale church” presents Holiday Shoppe

Posted

To many friends and neighbors, Good Shepherd Church in Hilltown is known as “the book sale church.”

Once again, this holiday season, Good Shepherd will put the books away, and present a festive “Holiday Shoppe.”

The Shoppe will offer a combination of holiday and everyday décor, games, linens, kitchen wares, and gifts. The items are all either new or in “like-new” condition, so this is not a garage sale, but rather a chance to get gift-worthy items at a bargain.

And, of course, in keeping with tradition at the “book sale church,” there will also be an assortment of Christmas books, music, and movies.

Chairperson Cindy Schwebel, who is also Good Shepherd Church’s music director, said “all of the merchandise is carefully screened for condition, so while the prices and bargains will rival a garage sale, the quality of the items is significantly higher.

Co-chair Bobbie Livesey added that many items are still in their original wrapping.

The Shoppe will be open Friday, Dec. 2 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Saturday, Dec. 3 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and Sunday, Dec. 4 (noon to 4 p.m.)

Good Shepherd Church is located at 1634 Hilltown Pike, at the intersection of Hilltown Pike and Route 152 in Hilltown. For information, visit goodshepherdhilltown.org, or call 215-431-6462.
