Temple Judea of Bucks County will host a special Shabbat service at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 in honor of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
Guest speaker Keven E. Leven of the Bucks County Anti-Racism Coalition will address the congregation. All are invited to attend.
Leven serves as co-leader of the coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to educating, informing, and taking action on matters of racial justice. As a Black man who has lived his entire life amid white suburban culture, he has had a front-row seat at the threshold of race relations and been privy to the nuances of those relationships.
