Stingrays swim to victory

Posted
The PSC Highpoint Stingrays swam to victory in their virtual meeting versus Oreland Swim Club. The final score was PSC 269 and Oreland 216.

The swimmers of each program met at their home pool in small groups for a time trial event. All times were then submitted to the Lower Bucks Swim League (LBSL) to have the results merged together for a meet results. In the end, there were many close virtual races that were decided by tenths of a second.

During the meet, there were many personal best swim and record-breaking performances.

“It was a hot night and we had some hot heat swims as well. We filled up the lanes with many swims tonight, and it was fun to watch many swimmers compete in many different events. We learned a lot about our swimmers tonight, and we will look to use the new knowledge to make us better these next three weeks ahead. We have to continue to work on eliminating the DQs and continue to improve and drop those times,” said head coach Sean Kelly.
