Reps. Labs, Warren meet with local leaders

Posted

State Representatives Shelby Labs, R-143, and Perry Warren, D-31, provided a State Transportation Committee update at a TMA Bucks breakfast Friday in Richboro.

Warren and Labs both sit on the PA House Transportation Committee and they discussed the sunsetting of Act 89 funding and the obstacles to the establishment of sustainable state funding for both highway and public transportation. They also sought feedback and ideas to bring to the committee.

“We appreciate the time that both Representative Labs and Warren took out of their schedule to not only provide an update on things the State Transportation Committee is currently discussing but take several questions from our attendees and make it a very productive two-way discussion,” said TMA Bucks deputy director David Walter.

Sponsored by Univest, the meeting was organized by the nonprofit TMA Bucks, which is tasked with providing leadership and advocacy for transportation management services and solutions that impact Bucks County.
