Soup Cook-Off proceeds help Fisherman’s Mark

Posted

Nine local chefs competed in the Feb. 24 River Town Soup Cook-Off at Havana in New Hope, but the real winners were the clients served by Fisherman’s Mark, a Lambertville social services organization. The cook-off raised $1,000 for the local food pantry and collected about $500 in food donations. Representing the sponsoring businesses — organizer Revolutionary Crawls and Events, Stephan Design & Construction, Niece Lumber and SMC Global — Marianne Rosato presents a check to Nick Halladay, program coordinator at Fisherman’s Mark. The participating chefs came from Havana, Logan Inn, Green House, Olde Stone, Lambertville House, Triumph Brewery, Soulberry Market, Under the Moon and Lambertville Station.
