Along with Council Rock South, two additional District One 6A softball teams advanced out of Monday’s opening round.
Pennridge, the 13th seed, defeated Neshaminy, the 20th seed, 6-0 in Perkasie. The Rams traveled to Boyertown for Wednesday’s second-round game.
No. 18 Central Bucks South rallied to beat host and 15th seed Owen J. Roberts 6-4 in Pottstown. The Titans faced No. 2 Quakertown, which had an opening-round bye, in Wednesday’s second round.

In Class A, No. 2 Faith Christan thumped No. 3 Plumstead Christian 15-0 Tuesday to advance to Thursday’s district title game. The Lions will play Dock Mennonite for the championship and a PIAA berth.
New Hope’s season came to an end Tuesday in the Class 3A final. The Lions fell to MaST Charter 6-1.
Palisades will open the District 11 3A tournament on Thursday at Parkland. The No. 2 Pirates will play No. 3 Pen Argyl, with the winner advancing to the championship game Tuesday.
