Bea Sagar was looking for a creative solution in 2020 when many people were feeling isolated due to Covid-19. When she saw a 20-piece white puzzle and was reminded of how puzzles fit together to form a whole and the “We Are All Connected Art Project” was born.
She received over 1,000 puzzle pieces done by artists of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and stature whose collective voice is reaching out to be connected through the creative spirit from all over the United States and 25 other countries. Many pieces came with a note of appreciation or a personal story of how important it is to be included.
The exhibit is on display at Silo 6776, New Hope, through Sept. 5. An Artist Reception is Saturday, July 30, 1 to 4 p.m. The artist Talk is Sunday, July 31, 12 to 2 p.m. To attend, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
