Shop for purposeful handmade gifts at Ten Thousand Villages

Posted

Shoppers looking for unique, global gifts will find them at Ten Thousand Villages, which invites conscious customers into its “maker-to-market movement that believes what we wear, place in our homes, or give as gifts should be ethically made.”

Ten Thousand Villages values the unique nature and thoughtfulness of something that’s been crafted by hand and the life of the maker behind it.

Located in the Souderton Shopping Center, at 781 Route 113, Souderton, for over 30 years, Ten Thousand Villages does business differently than typical retailers.

“Our artisan investment model puts the maker first and is built on long-term partnerships and fair trade principles. Every purchase and donation by customers directly impacts the life and community of artisans in under-resourced areas. Together we break the cycle of generational poverty and ignite social change.”

Holiday hours are: Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Save $10 on a purchase of $50 or more Dec. 15 and 16.
